Just some stuff about me:
I grew up in a large family with 4 brothers and 1 sister in a small town you've probably never heard of.
My family means the world to me. No one could be better. ;)
I hope to have a big family of my own someday.
I've participated in a wide variety of sports and love a little competition.
My parents bought me a sewing machine for Christmas when I was 12.
I don't think I ever hated a gift more, but have grown to love it and couldn't be more grateful for it today.
My Momma is the true crafty lady and inspires me to learn more.
I'm the mother of a little boy who radiates sunshine, and pregnant with a 2nd.
My hubby is one of the kindest and sweetest men I know and couldn't be more perfect for me. (Proof to me that the Lord really does know us personally.)
He's pretty darn cute too! ;)

My desire has always been to be a stay at home mom, and nothing could make me more happy.
In recent years I've discovered a love for all things crafty, especially sewing.
I'm not always the best at it, but I'm trying to learn and do the best I can.
I also love to cook and am a confessed Food Network addict. Which ironically was the subject of my husband and I's first conversation.
Life is one of the greatest journeys, and I love having the opportunity to share my journey with you. :)
What is a waffleflower?
I get asked this question quite often, and honestly I don't think there's an answer. My mom is known for picking up (or making up) unique and fun sounding words, and using them as nicknames for her children. One of mine was "my little waffleflower," and usually followed some type of advice or encouragement. It was always one of my favorites, and was completely fitting for my blog name.
